An Inside-Out Approach to Eating Through Mindfulness

 

A comprehensive mindful eating program that guides people to reconnect with their physical signals to the awareness of when, what, and how much to eat without restrictive diet rules and recognize and cope with their triggers for eating issues.

 

This inside-out approach to eating and self-care that focuses on changing thoughts and feelings first, so changes in behaviors will last – giving anyone a chance to nourish body, mind, and spirit to build health, energy, and joy!

 

Whether you’re over-eating, under-eating or somewhere in-between, the spectrum to how we eat our food is vast.  Few people have a good relationship with food and exercise. Am I Hungry? is a non-diet, non-size, mindfulness-based programme that helps you to look deeply into your relationship with food and exercise rather than existing in a restrictive and punitive cycle that inevitably fails when the regime stops, due to it being impossible to keep going.  Let’s face it; dieting does not work for many, if any.

 

Am I Hungry? helps to break this negative cycle and encourages a new way of living with food and exercise. The programme can support all aspects of our lives.

For much of my life I’ve had an ‘on-off’ relationship with diets and exercise.  I’d been longing to find something that allows me to live more fully, not constrained or restrained by food groupings, diets, counting calories or rules and, more importantly, to enjoy food and all that it entails, including movement and exercise.

 

I’m delighted to be reaping the rewards from doing this programme and becoming a qualified “Am I Hungry?” Facilitator to bring this life-enhancing programme to Jersey for the first time.

 

Labyrinth Mindful Eating incorporates the “Am I Hungry?” eating programme based on the book Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat by Dr Michelle May.

 

If you want to address your relationship with food and exercise in an informed, educational series of workshops, followed by on-going support that can fit any lifestyle, book onto an 8-week course in town or out west.

 

This is a pathway to bring about a lifestyle that works! A pathway to eat mindfully and live vibrantly.
